Christopher Lee stars in this British shocker as Phillipe Darvas, the leader of The Theatre of Death, a Grand Guignol theater troupe in Paris. Attracted to one of the leads in their gruesome plays, a police surgeon begins frequenting the theater. At the same time, a series of grotesque murders plague Paris, and soon The Theatre of Death falls under suspicion.
