leech

costumes who terrorize the residents of a swamp. When irradiated leeches grow huge in a Southern bayou, a local storekeeper sees his chance to be rid of his trashy, two-timing wife--by feeding her to the leeches.THE SCREAMING SKULL: A woman is nearly driven mad by images of a spectral skull. Her husband, trying to reassure her, may know more than he first admits.BEAST OF YUCCA FLATS: A 300-pound wrestler named Jimmy

Superfly

Snuka plays a noted Russian nuclear scientist chased by communist spies into the desert where he runs right into an atomic blast and is turned into a hair-eating, club-wielding monster who befriends the local rabbits. THE TERROR: Horror legend Boris Karloff and a young Jack Nicholson team up in this disjointed but enjoyable Roger Corman quickie. Nicholson plays Lieutenant Andre Duvalier, an officer under Napoleon who finds himself lost along a stretch of beach, where he is seduced by the beautiful Helene (Sandra Knight), who may or may not be a ghost. His obsession leads him to the gloomy castle of Baron Von Leppe (Karloff), a recluse haunted by the ghost of his dead wife, Ilse, who Andre suspects is actually Helene, or visa versa. A nicely ominous mood maintains itself with the help of Ronald Stein`s robust score.
