The depths of obsession are endless, and Joey (Haim Abramsky) falls further and further into its reaches as his already-unstable emotional state devolves into a self-destructive journey from which there is no return. His girlfriend Laura (Elizabeth Gondek) has fallen to her accidental death, and Joey refuses to let go; he steals her body and embarks on a trip from New York to West Virginia, travelling through lonely American villages and staying in desolate motels along the way. In an attempt to recapture Laura's beauty, and the happiness and dark moments of his relationship with her, he begins to engage in rituals that become ever more desperate as Laura's body starts to decay.
