Set in a rundown hospital, BEG! follows the fortunes of Dr. Penelope Second (Peta Lily) as she struggles to discover who murdered her boyfriend. Unfortunately, poor Penelope also has to tend to her father, who falls into a coma as the news of the murder arrives. But things get progressively weirder as the oddball Detective Stiltskin (Philip Pellow) arrives to question Penelope, triggering a nightmarish chain of events that drives the poor doctor to the brink of insanity. Thematically similar to Lars Von Trier`s THE KINGDOM, BEG! is a Troma presentation that deviates from their usual low-budget horror fare.
