REMMER envisions a rather bleak fate for narcoleptics, those who uncontrollably fall asleep in the middle of other activities. While on a camping trip with his girlfriend Addie, Sonny recounts what seems to be a harmless ghost story. The couple is horrified when the story seems comes to life and they become the main players in it. This gory prequel is loosely based on the case of the DeFeo murders, which took place in the famed house in Ocean Avenue before the Lutz's, whose tale was told in THE AMITYVILLE HORROR, moved in.
