The FANGORIA FRIGHT PACK presents a threesome of low-budget gorefests from the annals of the hallowed horror magazine. In THE LAST HORROR MOVIE (2003), a wedding photographer (Kevin Howarth) filming a documentary about serial killers becomes one himself and chronicles his crimes on camera for a disturbing meta-movie about watching horror movies. In SKINNED DEEP (2004), a vacationing family on a cross-country trip get a flat tire in a backwoods hamlet and are offered help by a local woman whose kin turn out to be a pack of demented killers. As the unsuspecting visitors are brutally murdered by the likes of a plate-throwing dwarf (LEPRECHAUN`s Warwick Davis) and a disfigured boy with an enlarged brain on the outside of his head, the sole surviving daughter (Karoline Brandt) struggles to escape before she becomes the psychos` next victim. And in DEAD MEAT (2004), Spanish tourists Helena (Marian Araujo) and Martin (David Ryan) literally stumble upon a legion of flesh-eating zombies created by a mutated strain of mad-cow disease in the rural Irish countryside. It isn`t long before Martin himself succumbs to zombification, leaving Helena to partner with local gravedigger Desmond (David Mallard) to fight off the army of undead with creatively zany techniques involving everything from shovels to vacuum cleaners.

They awaken in an old secluded mansion under the care of middle-aged spinster Marion Penrose and her man-hating mother. In Josh Apter and Peter Olsen's KAATERSKILL FALLS, Ren (Hilary Howard) and Mitchell (Mitchell Riggs), a young professional couple, embark on a romantic weekend in the Catskill Mountains of New York. However, their plans are derailed when they decide to pick up Lyle (Anthony Leslie), a lone hitchhiker. Although they let him off a few miles up the road, Lyle later reappears in front of their cabin. Ren and Mitchell invite the quiet stranger in for drinks and dinner, and the unlikely trio engages in liquor-fueled storytelling and conversation. With no place else to go, Lyle stays the night in the cabin. However, tensions that have slowly built between the cell-phone-toting Mitchell, the repressed Ren, and the chain-smoking Lyle come to a head on a hike the following day, leading to shocking events at the high peak of Kaaterskill Falls.This independent thriller was shot in only 13 days on a tight budget with a small crew. The three actors largely improvise their dialogue, furthering the film's openly do-it-yourself aesthetic. Apter and Olsen skillfully set the tone with spare, color-saturated photography that enhances the beautiful but seemingly deserted mountain setting, while a foreboding tone is gradually established by the actors' performances and the atmospheric music of Minneapolis-based musician Steve Tibbetts. Astonishingly prolific (with over 150 titles to his name) Spanish exploitation filmmaker Jess Franco directs GOLDEN TEMPLE AMAZONS. The film stars Alice Arno and Lina Romay, two of the oft-naked actresses who were part of Franco's stable of actors in the 1970s. A group of cruel Amazons lurks deep in the jungle, discovered by a family of explorers. Fearful that the explorers might tell the world of their great wealth, the Amazons murder the older explorers but spare their daughter, who they raise as one of their own. But when the daughter, Liana, grows up and discovers her parentage, she decides to take bloody revenge on the leaders of the Amazon tribe.
