In the midst of a 1962 pleasure cruise, the passengers and crew of Italian luxury liner the Antonia Graza are systematically slaughtered and left in pieces by a gang of terrorists. Forty years later, the ship is spotted drifting in the Bering sea. Fresh off a six-month journey, an Alaska-based seafaring salvage team lead by Murphy (Gabriel Byrne) and Epps (Julianna Margulies) are approached by a Canadian weather spotter (Desmond Harrington) who noticed the derelict vessel on a flyover. Tempted by the possibility of untold riches, the crew takes on the job of tracking down the ship. Once aboard though, strange things start to happen, beginning with Epps's sighting of the ghost of a little girl. After the team finds a cache of gold, all hell breaks loose, and the angry ghosts make themselves known--and begin destroying the intruders one by one.Purely and simply a floating haunted house tale, GHOST SHIP is a creepy thrill ride that compensates for its lack of originality with some creepy art direction and a number of very grisly special effects. SERIAL CHILLERS is a collection of spine chilling tales of gruesome delight.
The first Ghastly tale is DR. BLOOD'S COFFIN(1961). People in a small village are disappearing
when a mad scientist is experimenting with methods of reviving the dead.
The second selection is THE BRAINIAC (1962) when a baron is burned alive for practicing witchcraft he returns 300 years later as a hideous brainsucking beast to seek his revenge. The final entry is FURY OF THE WOLFMAN (1972) starring genre favorite Paul Naschy.
Naschy stars as a scientist who discovers he has been cursed when he arrives home after an
expedition in Tibet. Now when the moon is full he transforms into a werewolf.

Be prepared to be scared. James Wan`s directorial debut, written by and starring Leigh Whannell, is a violent, bloody, psychologically exhausting and exhilarating exercise in terror. Adam (Whannell) and Dr. Gordon (Cary Elwes) are chained in a vile, disgusting bathroom, separated by a bloody corpse holding a gun and a tape recorder. They are each given a saw--the only obvious way out is to cut one of their feet off. A serial killer who specializes in torturing morally bereft strangers is playing a game with them: Gordon has less than eight hours to kill Adam or else the doctor`s wife (Monica Potter) and daughter (Mackenzie Vega) will be murdered. As the two men engage in a battle of wits, alternately trying to help each other and secretly attempting to win the game, a series of flashbacks reveals the history of the madman and the pair of detectives (Danny Glover and Ken Leung) handling the case. Some of the torture scenes are excruciatingly horrible and hard to watch, a real treat for fans of the genre. Inspired by the work of David Lynch (BLUE VELVET, TWIN PEAKS) and Dario Argento (SUSPIRIA, INFERNO), Wan has created a scintillating suspense thriller that will have audiences continually shocked, repelled, frightened, and surprised, right up to the very last second (which Whannell has said was influenced by the endings of such films as THE USUAL SUSPECTS and THE SIXTH SENSE). The accompanying heavy metal soundtrack is appropriately scary as well.

Director Rusty Nails illustrious career has seen him at the helm of movies such as BLOOD DRINKERS, ANIMATED CORPSE and SANTIAGO VS. WIGFACE. Never one to shirk from a little violence and sex, Rusty's latest epic is ACNE, which tells the sorry tale of a bunch of teenagers who transform into zombies. Franny (Tracey Hayes) and Zooey (the ubiquitous Rusty Nails) are the first to undergo the transformation when they drink some contaminated water. With puss oozing from their every pore, the duo head off on a suburban adventure, where they infect fellow teens, develop a craving for chocolate, and get hunted down by the military. Nails proves his B-movie chops by paying not-so-subtle tributes to films such as RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, and many other films with the word dead in the title, while a vibrant punk rock soundtrack provides an appropriate backdrop to the carnage, with Devo, The Dead Kennedys, and The Lunachicks all featuring heavily throughout.DVD Features:Region (unknown)Keep CaseFull Frame - 1.33
