A boorish doctor who has devised a way to bring the dead back to life gets into a car accident and kills his beautiful fiancee; he takes her severed head back to the lab with him and keeps it alive in a tray of serum. She is unhappy with the situation and begs him to let her die, but he embarks upon a search for the perfect body for his amour, visiting strip clubs and streetwalkers and scouring the city. Meanwhile, the fiancee discovers that a side effect of her current status is telepathy, and she begins to communicate with the doctor's mistake, which is held captive in a locked room off the lab. Most college students look forward to returning to their hometowns during breaks -- it gives them a chance to do some laundry, see friends from high school...and fight hot-rodding demons! When Jesse goes home during a vaaction, he finds his town invaded by a gang of car racing fanatics. They have become so serious about the hobby, that they begin to call upon supernatural powers to help them reach the heights of speed. The plan backfires, however, when a cryptic driver begins to eliminate members of the gang, Jesse discovers their secret and must find a way to stop the terror before it destroys the town!

A seductive retelling of the legendary tale, BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA is Francis Ford Coppola's opulent, erotic, blood-filled feast. Count Dracula (played with irresistible intensity by Gary Oldman) reunites with his soul mate, Mina (Winona Ryder), after four centuries. Mina's friend Lucy (Sadie Frost) succumbs to the deadly bite of Dracula while Renfield (Tom Waits), locked in an asylum, eagerly waits for his master's return. Mina's fiance, Jonathan Harker (Keanu Reeves), with the help of the eccentric Professor Van Helsing (Anthony Hopkins), attempts to save Mina's life and soul before she can become Dracula's eternal bride.After Dracula attacks Mina's friend Lucy (Sadie Frost), Dr. Jack Seward (Richard E. Grant) calls in the legendary Professor Van Helsing (Anthony Hopkins) to cure Lucy's disease of the blood. Ornate costume design and lighting awash in shades of blood make this film a seductive and scary must-see.In his version of the oft-told tale, Francis Ford Coppola takes Bram Stoker's archetypical horror story and accentuates the romantic angle. Blood still flows in large amounts, and Coppola opted to do all the eye-pleasing visual effects in-camera, utilizing shadow puppets, smoke, miniatures, and other time-honored tricks of the trade--creating a visual style not unlike that of a storybook come to life.

Robert Madero (writer of the cult punk-rock classic THE BLANK GENERATION) directs the slasher pic CAMP UTOPIA. The film utilizes the familiar setup of a group of teenagers hunted by a murder in a threatening forest setting. The teens travel to the woods to explore the place where a hippie commune lived many years earlier. The leader of the group, the Manson-like Timothy Bach (RATT lead singer Stephen Pearcy), slaughtered his followers at the site many years ago and then mysteriously disappeared. But when the teens visit the former commune for some fun, something terrible starts terrorizing them.
